Job Description

 Responsibilities

• Develop new formulations and improve existing coffee-based products, including roasted beans, ground coffee, and ready-to-drink beverages, with an emphasis on flavor profile, aroma, texture, stability, and shelf life.
• Conduct cupping sessions, sensory evaluations, and shelf-f-life studies to ensure consistent quality and consumer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all R&D activities, including recipes, procedures, testing data, and outcomes, in accordance with company SOPs.
• Ensure all coffee products comply with local and international food safety and labeling regulations, such as the Food Act 1983 and Codex Alimentarius standards.
• Stay current with global coffee trends, emerging brewing technologies, sustainable sourcing practices, and innovative ingredients to support continuous product innovation.

Job Requirements

 Requirements

• Minimum Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Food Science/Food Technology
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in R&D or product development within the food & beverage industry
• Experience in coffee or beverage product development is a strong advantage
• Strong understanding of coffee processing, roasting, brewing, and sensory evaluation
• Knowledge of shelf-life testing, formulation techniques, and quality control
• Familiarity with food safety regulations, food labeling requirements, and quality standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Good communication and teamwork skills
