Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounts Payable & Supplier Management:

• Key in supplier invoices into the accounting system.
• Review and verify supplier statements for accuracy and outstanding items.
• Process local supplier payments and handle overseas transfers (TT payments).

1. Banking & Reconciliation:

• Perform bank reconciliations for all company accounts, including:
• Maybank (MBB)
• Hong Leong Bank (HLB)
• CIMB (Local)
• Other Banks (as applicable)
• Monitor bank balances and update relevant finance reports.

1. Loan & Utility Management:

• Manage and record monthly loan payments.
• Track and pay utilities such as electricity, water, internet, and telecommunication bills.

1. Vehicle & Insurance:

• Schedule Puspakom appointments and coordinate vehicle servicing.
• Renew vehicle insurance policies in a timely manner.

1. Intercompany & Reporting:

• Handle intercompany billing and reconciliation between related entities.
• Prepare and maintain proper documentation for all transactions and reports.
• Organize and maintain filing systems for invoices, payments, and financial records.

Job Requirements

Requirement:

• Accuracy and attention to detail;
• Possess at least a bachelor’s degree, Postgraduate in Accounting or professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CA/CPA);
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, SQL accounting software and database;
• Results-oriented and proactive;
• Proven working experience in Manufacturing Accounting would be advantage;
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations;
• At least 3-5 years of relevant accounting and tax experience,
• Works well under pressure, tight deadline, and fast-paced environment.
