Segment the account to prioritize high-value opportunities and align resources with the customer's most critical business issues.
Maintain a comprehensive inventory of account knowledge, including deep dives into competitor positioning and the mapping of key decision-makers.
Assemble and lead a unified account team, ensuring global communication and "cross-fertilization" of ideas across different departments and sites.
Drive complex sales cycles by aligning Air Liquide’s internal processes with the customer’s local and corporate decision-making structures.
Design and validate bespoke value propositions and strategic objectives for approval by the National Accounts Director and senior management.
Systematically assess and improve account profitability and contract strength, focusing on duration, price escalation formulas, and frame agreements.
Build mutual trust through a structured meeting cadence with executives, ensuring Air Liquide is perceived as a single, cohesive global partner.
Lead the offer review process to ensure every contract meets strict profitability, feasibility, HSE regulations, and corporate sales policies.
Proactively detect and qualify new opportunities to enlarge the Air Liquide service footprint beyond the current scope of work.
Maintain centralized dashboards and "Account Logbooks" to report sales results, visit outcomes, and contract implementations to the Entity Management.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Business Administration.
Minimum 7 years of experience in Key Account Management, Business Development, or Strategic Sales, preferably within the industrial gas, chemicals, or energy sectors.
Ability to map out customer organizations and identify "white space" opportunities for growth within mature accounts.
Expertise in leading cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Finance, Technical) across different geographies.
Ability to pivot strategy based on market shifts or changes in the customer’s business environment.
