BRAND EXECUTIVE
AirAsia brand co.(Abc.), Kuala Lumpur
As a Brand Executive at Abc., you play a key role in supporting the Brand Manager in all Brand led initiatives and campaigns. This largely includes leading the execution of the campaign plan, ensuring that the objectives and key messages are always clear and correctly carried out. On top of that, you will also act as a brand guardian to ensure the brand identity is consistently represented across all business entities’ initiatives and projects.
This role requires you to constantly contribute to the strategic planning of a campaign and have a 360 thinking approach around media planning, creative concept, social media approach and activation ideation. You will need to always be curious to learn and understand more about the industry that the brand exists in and identify opportunities that the brand can tap into for brand building purposes.
On a day-to-day basis, you will work closely with the group brand team, creative team and social teams to bring to life campaigns and projects. Beyond the team in Abc., you will also be collaborating with and required to manage stakeholders from various working teams from other entities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the execution of brand campaigns and initiatives aligned with overall business objectives.
Support the Brand Manager in conducting brand audits to ensure consistency of the brand representation across all online and offline touchpoints.
Assist in tracking project timelines, deliverables and budgets
Contribute in campaign planning and ideation.
Work closely with the in-house creative team or creative agency to develop creative concepts and maintain corporate identity.
Activate local and global sponsorship for year round projects
Stay informed about the competitive landscape and identify opportunities to differentiate and drive the AirAsia brand forward.
Support the creation of compelling brand content across various channels, including social media, website, and marketing materials.
Assist in managing the brand's voice and tone across all communications.
Work closely with internal and external teams to ensure brand alignment, including marketing, creative, customer service, to ensure brand alignment, agencies, production house and partners.
Effectively communicate brand guidelines and updates to relevant stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS
At least 2 years in a Brand, Marketing, strategy or accounts servicing role
A degree or higher in brand, marketing, communications, creative or similar
Must be confident, curious, self-motivated, meticulous, resourceful, and able to perform under tight deadlines
Able to travel as and when required
Proficient in oral and written English. Proficiency in other languages, especially Bahasa Melayu and Mandarin is beneficial
Good communication skills including presenting
Strong and genuine passion and understanding for sports, entertainment, or related industries
Thorough understanding of brand marketing strategy, strong communications skills, and the ability to find creative and unique solutions.
Good understanding of relevant distribution & advertising platforms
Strong planning and project management skills. Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
