Job Description
The Head of Social leads MOVE’s social media strategy across platforms, building a high-impact, culturally relevant social presence that strengthens brand connection and drives engagement.
This role is for a senior social leader with strong agency experience, who has run successful large-scale brand accounts and knows how to scale social content across multiple markets and cultures.
The role owns MOVE’s regional social direction and works closely with overseas market teams to ensure content is locally relevant while staying aligned to a unified brand vision.
Define MOVE’s overall social strategy, roadmap, and priorities
Translate brand and business objectives into clear social frameworks and platform strategies
Establish MOVE’s social voice, tone, and personality across all channels
Ensure social content remains distinctive, relevant, and on-brand across regions
Own MOVE’s end-to-end social content system, including
UGC curation and licensing
Original content creation
Creator and brand collaborations
Set creative direction, content pillars, and platform-native formats for social
Ensure content is culturally relevant, platform-native, and algorithm-aware
Lead trend identification and rapid response across markets
Own platform strategies for TikTok, Instagram, and emerging channels
Define and track social KPIs across engagement, reach, views, and growth
Lead regular performance reviews and optimisation decisions
Lead social execution for key campaigns, launches, and brand moments
Oversee creator, KOL, and brand partnership strategies on social
Work cross-functionally to integrate social into broader marketing and brand initiatives
Lead, coach, and develop the social team across content creation, curation, collaboration, and community
Set clear workflows, briefs, and approval processes
Build a high-performance, fast-moving team culture
Experience
7-10 years experience in social, content, or digital leadership
Strong background in creative or social agencies
Proven experience managing regional or multi-market social accounts
Deep understanding of regional social behaviours, trends, and cultural nuances
Experience working with overseas teams across different markets
Comfortable balancing global brand consistency with local relevance
