YOUR ROLE AS AN:

Intern, Social Media Designer

As an Intern, Social Media Designer, you'll support the Social Media team in creating engaging, on-brand visual content across our digital platforms. You'll transform ideas into eye-catching social media creatives, simple illustrations, and graphic assets that capture attention while staying aligned with current social trends and our brand identity.

WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:

• Design engaging static social media posts for Instagram and other digital platforms.
• Create simple illustrations, icons, and graphic elements to enhance content.
• Adapt existing visual assets into social media-friendly formats.
• Design Instagram Stories, carousel posts, and post covers.
• Ensure all creative assets are aligned with brand guidelines while maintaining a social-first approach.
• Collaborate closely with the Social Media team to deliver high-quality creatives within deadlines.
• Stay up to date with the latest design trends, platform updates, and social media best practices.
• Support creative brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas for campaigns and content.

WHO YOU ARE:

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop and Illustrator); knowledge of Canva or Figma is an advantage.
• Possess a good eye for design, typography, colour, and layout.
• Passionate about social media trends, digital content, and visual storytelling.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and able to produce high-quality work.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive team player with good communication and collaboration skills.
• A portfolio showcasing design work for digital or social media content is an added advantage.
