Intern, Product Designer
What You'll Champion:
- Assist in the design and development of user-centered interfaces and interactions for web and mobile applications
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and project managers, to ensure that designs are implemented accurately and efficiently
- Continuously improve design skills and stay current with industry trends and best practices
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and design critiques
- Mentored by an experienced UI/UX designer
- Contribute to the improvement of design processes and guidelines
- Any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Skills Requirements:
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to apply them in practice
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Figjam, Miro etc.
- Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools
- Knowledge of responsive design and ability to design for different screen sizes and device types
- Understanding of web and mobile design guidelines and best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to find solutions
- Experience with usability testing and user research methods
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Strong portfolio that demonstrates a variety of design projects and problem-solving approach
- Strong time management and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- High attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong ability to learn new tools and technologies

- Currently undertaking a degree in Graphic/Web or User Design, Arts or software engineering, or related fields.
- Strong interest in all things design, passionate for building delightful mobile and web users experiences (UI/UX).
- An online portfolio that showcases your design skills and knowledge.
- Basic knowledge in product design tools such as Figma, Figjam, Miro and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
