We are looking for a Social Media intern specifically in Growth and Marketing to join our team. This role will be reporting directly to a Growth Manager in the Growth team
As a Marketing & Growth Intern, you’ll play a key role in shaping and executing our social media strategy while gaining exposure to growth marketing initiatives across acquisition, engagement, and partnerships. This is a hands-on, fast-paced opportunity ideal for someone passionate about content, data, and making an impact in the fintech space.
Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling daily content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
Draft captions, visual concepts, and social storyboards aligned with our brand voice
Research fintech and lifestyle trends for content ideas and campaign hooks
Participate in short-form video production (filming, editing, ideation)
Support influencer collaborations and UGC campaigns
Engage with community: reply to DMs/comments, monitor trends and feedback
Track weekly performance metrics (reach, engagement, saves, clicks)
Support paid social campaigns by preparing creatives and tracking performance (e.g., CAC, CTR)
Help execute CRM campaigns (email, push, WhatsApp) targeting user activation and retention
Assist in user research and persona mapping
Contribute to campaign reports, growth experiments, and weekly marketing reviews
Support small merchant and partner-focused marketing initiatives (e.g., QR campaigns)
How to create content that converts in a competitive fintech market
Growth funnel analysis: acquisition, activation, retention
Social ad campaign optimization (Meta, TikTok)
Community building and digital storytelling in financial services
Working with cross-functional teams (product, design, partnerships)
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related fields
Strong interest in social media, content creation, and digital marketing
Active on TikTok and Instagram with a sense of trends and online culture
Basic skills in Canva or any editing tool (CapCut, InShot, Adobe, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication in English (BM a plus)
Self-starter, team player, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
Experience with Meta Business Suite, TikTok Ads, or analytics tools
Basic copywriting, design, or video editing portfolio
Familiarity with the Malaysian e-wallet space or fintech landscape
