JOB DESCRIPTION

YOUR ROLE AS A :

AirAsia X is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the compliance of airworthiness requirements and safety by the Continuing Airworthiness Division in its effort to produce serviceable aircraft for service. You will assist the Quality Assurance Manager for the establishment, implementation and maintenance of all quality assurance programs within AirAsia X that are required by ICAO, CAAM, Company Policy, process as well as the IOSA standards.

WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION :

• Implement a suitable system of quality assurance operations to effectively and efficiently ensure and enforce compliance of airworthiness requirements and safety

• Carry out assigned audits as per approved audit plan and tasks assigned by QAM

• Perform audits internal and external to ensure compliance to CAAM Civil Aviation Directives as well as other applicable standards

• Assist Quality Assurance Manager for the establishment, implementation and maintenance of all quality assurance program within AirAsia X that are required by ICAO, CAAM and Company Policy, process as well as the IOSA standards

• Ensure that all audits are performed in accordance with the approved audit plan and tasks assigned by QAM

• Identify, record, and report any non-compliance or deficiency found during the audit

• Assist in the development of corrective actions and follow-up with responsible parties to ensure timely and effective implementation

WHO YOU ARE :

• Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Licence (B1/B2) with at least one type rating

• Minimum of five (5) years of working experience in aircraft maintenance certification

• Knowledge in aircraft, engines and its associated systems

• Possess knowledge in the application of aviation safety standards, state safety program and safe operating practices

• Knowledgeable in CAA of Malaysia requirements and regulations

• Computer literate

• Tactful with good interpersonal and communication skills

• Experience in auditing will be an advantage

Professional qualifications :

• Possess auditor training certification

• CAAM AML Licence with at least one type rating

• Train the Trainer Certification

Training required for the position (if any) :

• OJT with qualified auditor or the above-mentioned as required
