Job Description
System Leadership: Develop, manage, and audit the entire Quality Management System (QMS) and Food Safety System (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000).
Compliance: Ensure 100% adherence to local F&B regulations (Malaysia) and maintain all necessary certifications (Halal, etc.).
Operational Quality: Oversee and control product quality from ingredient sourcing to the final point of sale in restaurants/retail.
Team & Culture: Lead and mentor the QA team and drive a strong food safety culture across all departments.
Risk Management: Investigate quality issues, manage customer complaints, and lead product recall/crisis procedures when necessary.
Supplier Approval: Vet and approve all suppliers to guarantee they meet Santan's high-quality standards.
Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in QA/Food Safety, with at least 3 years in a management/senior leadership role within the F&B manufacturing or QSR industry.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
Expertise: Deep knowledge and certification in HACCP, GMP, and Food Safety Standards (e.g., ISO 22000).
Skills: Strong leadership, auditing, problem-solving, and communication skills.
