WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:

• Support and administer LAN, WAN, SDWAN, WIFI, Internet and Intranet Network infrastructure

• Provide network infrastructure solutions for all new projects initiated by the department.

• Participate in the establishment of a new project deployment  by installing, configuring and  testing the network systems according to the design and specifications.

• Resolve network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput and latency and provide permanent solutions for identified issues and problems.

• Modify the system's performance by proposing for improvement of the network infrastructure  including the hardware and services.  

• Performing network maintenance and system upgrades including software upgrades, patches and emergency patch fixes.

• Responsible for disaster recovery operations, protecting data, software, and hardware from attacks, and replacing faulty network hardware components when necessary. 

• Provide permanent fix for identified network  issues during the problem management process.

• Analyze, troubleshoot & isolate network related issues within defined resolution time.

• Maintain network performance by performing network monitoring, network  analysis  and performance tuning.

• Produce and maintain documentation on all network systems to a level sufficient to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity of support and author system configuration in documents for on-going reference

• Training and mentoring junior network engineers

WHO YOU ARE:

• Possess a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent with 7 years of solid working experience in the Networking Administration and Engineering.

• Good hands-on engineering experience with multi network products.

• Must have understanding and working experience in various cloud technologies, including virtualization, containerization, and orchestration technologies.

• Familiar with various  network infrastructure and security technologies.

• Hand-on experience with deployment and troubleshooting skills on public cloud networks such as  Google/Microsoft Azure/Alibaba/AWS.

• Working experience with  networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, VPN, HA, NAT, 802.11, 802.1x, QoS). 

• Configure and maintain various network hardware platforms such as routers, wireless, switches, and firewalls.

• Strong knowledge of layer 3 routing and associated protocols

• Self-motivated, ability to multitask, interact with all levels of users, team player and fast learner.

• Possess good verbal and written communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia or additional languages is an added advantage.
