AirAsia is looking for a Senior Regional Network Manager who will be responsible for recruiting, enabling and managing Airasia Regional Network. This individual will report to our Infrastructure Manager.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the Local and Global network of Airasia including all service partners

• Responsible for Airasia LANs, WANs, Internet, and Intranet systems. 

• Review proposals and prepare contracts for all new network service partners

• Lead, manage and develop Network Delivery and Production support teams.

• Responsible for career growth, development, hiring, training, change management, employee engagement & evaluation, and health & morale of the teams.

• Develop staff through ongoing coaching and feedback, rewarding results, and partnering on meaningful development plans. Provides team with continuous coaching to drive continuous improvements.

• Vendor management including resources, escalation, and input to contracts.

• Provide visibility into the overall performance of the network delivery team, including identifying opportunities for process and tool improvements and driving those from concept to implementation

• Engage in highly complex business initiatives requiring design or integration of technical solutions across the business.

• Prepare inputs into various leadership forums

• Ensures team adherence to Strategy, architecture standards, risk management, and security policies.

• Supports operational planning cycles, financial managements, and new business case development

• Participates in planning sessions for highly complex or critical business/technical issues.

• Provides recommendations on business and systems options, risks, cost/benefit analysis, and impact on cross-functional business goals and processes.

• Responsible for Hardware and Software lifecycle management and patching for network equipment.

• Act as a technical point of escalation for production issues.

• Identify innovative opportunities for automation, cost savings, and business improvement.

• Experience in maintaining & troubleshooting the wireless infrastructure within the office and remote offices.

• Experience in maintaining & troubleshooting Network Access Control (NAC) & Zero Trust

Desired Skills & Experience

• Possess a Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.

• At least 10 years of solid working experience in the network fields.

• Possess good verbal and written communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia or additional languages is an added advantage.

• Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in Networking Administration and Engineering.

• Hands-on Experience in all Network Technical Skills

• Familiar with Cloud Network (Google/Microsoft Azure/Alibaba/AWS) Architecture.

• Familiar with Cloud Network Modules & Configuration.

• Preferable to have working experience in Public Cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure).

• Willingness to Travel to various Airports and corporate sites where Airasia and its subsidiaries operate.

• Self-motivated, ability to multitask, interact with all levels of users, team player, fast learner.
