Job Description

Business Objectives

  • Ensure on-going optimal use of the training activities and resources in a compliant fashion

  • Ensures conformity of crew members to training and recurrency requirements

  • Ensure disruptions to training are recovered and addressed in an expeditious and compliant manner as appropriate

  • Ensure transparent management of crew resource

  • Highlight resourcing constraints and proactive strategizing to address prior to publication

  • Adequate and even distribution of the resources to ensure uniform balancing

  • Liaise with own and third party training facilities and service providers to ensure the availability of required resources to meet the training requirements of the Group

Primary Accountabilities

  • Work within a team responsible for the crew schedule production across the Group of AOC’s

  • Allocate training resources and activities in line and within manpower targets on a daily basis to ensure optimal distribution and availability of flying crew to cover the operations

  • Escalate resourcing issues ahead of time to allow for adequate response across the business

  • Secure and manage bookings of internal and external training resources including manpower, facilities, simulators, etc

  • Take a proactive approach ensuring the optimum use of the crew resources through efficient training planning.

  • Ensure training activities are aligned with resource and travel requirements

  • Continuously track crew compliance to ensure a full audit trail and corrective action where necessary

  • Ensure all training and qualification requirements are met to enable legal and safe operation of all crew members

Requirements

Desired Skills & Experience:

1. A minimum of One year of experience in the aviation industry. 

a) Familiarity with AIMS software will be an advantage.

b) Experience in the operations department will be an advantage. 

c) Knowledge of Crew flight and duty time limitations is preferable. 

2. Proficient in the English language( written and oral).

3. High school education cleared or higher (High level of Maths proficiency preferred).

4. Good knowledge of Google suites(Google Sheets especially).

5. Positive attitude with a team spirit is important.
