Job Description
Be a part of an IT consulting and software provider as a JAVA Trainer - guiding and mentoring young developers!
• Identify learning needs of the Technical Team. Primarily to develop, modify, and continuously improve competency needs, identify gaps, and feedback received. Drive new learning & development initiatives on an end-to-end basis (identify needs, align with stakeholders, develop solutions, drive pilot and implementation, analyze and measure impact, learn from feedback, and design for improvement based on learnings) such as fieldwork, digital learning, social learning, on-the-job coaching, and mentoring, as well as short workshops.
• Determine the overall effectiveness of programs and make improvements.
• Work closely with HR for tech talent onboarding, ensuring the talent is up to speed in creating quality deliverables for all the projects assigned.
• Craft the Technical Department’s learning and development strategy in alignment with the company's overall strategic goals.
• Work closely with the General Manager, Head of Project Managers and Senior Management to develop instructional materials and activities that are deemed appropriate for the Software Engineers

Job Requirements
- Candidates must possess at least a Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a coding instructor.
- Proficient in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia
- Significant technical knowledge such as:
- Various Java frameworks and design patterns
- Web technologies such as Ajax, JavaScript, JQuery, JQuery Mobile, VueJS, AngularJS, Node.js, XML, CSS3, HTML5, SOAP/RESTful web services, Ionic, React, Spring Boot.
- Mobile application technology.
- Clouds implementation with AWS / AliCloud / GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, EC2, NoSQL
- Java frameworks such as Apache Struts/Struts 2
- Java services such as Enterprise Java Bean, Java Database Connectivity, and Java Messaging Services IBM WAS / Oracle WebLogic / Oracle Database Server with SQL/PL-SQL programming
- Web technologies such as Ajax, JavaScript, JQuery, JQuery Mobile, VueJS, AngularJS, Node.js, XML, CSS3, HTML5, SOAP/RESTful web services, Ionic, React, Spring Boot.
