Aliq Studio is a Kuala Lumpur-based branding and content agency. We build brand identities, run social media, and produce content for businesses across F&B, beauty, aesthetics, fitness, and retail.

We're looking for a Design Intern to join our studio in Bandar Sri Damansara. You'll sit inside a real client pod — working alongside an account manager, a videographer, and a senior designer — and your work goes to actual paying clients, not practice briefs.

What you'll be doing:

• Designing social media content for client accounts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) — static posts, carousels, and story assets
• Supporting brand identity projects: logo exploration, colour and typography boards, brand guideline pages
• Producing product mockups and packaging visuals for client presentations
• Adapting master designs into multiple sizes and formats across platforms
• Preparing files for print and digital output
• Joining internal reviews where your work gets critiqued and improved — this is the part where you actually get better

Job Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design, or a related field
• Available for a minimum 3-month internship, full-time, on-site in Bandar Sri Damansara
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or Figma
• A portfolio — coursework is fine, personal projects are better. We care more about how you think than how polished it is
• Understanding of layout, typography, and colour fundamentals
• Able to take direction and revise work without taking critique personally
• Communicates clearly in English and/or Bahasa Malaysia
• Comfortable working to deadlines with several projects running at once

Bonus (not required):

• Basic motion graphics (After Effects, CapCut) or short-form video editing
• Familiarity with social media formats and current visual trends
• Any experience with brand identity or packaging work
