Job Description

  • A regional roles to overseas a team of insurance specialists and Branch Banking sales staff regular premium sales.
  • To develop and monitor the Insurance Specialist (IS) and the IS business activities, IS recruitment, sales target setting, daily sales monitoring, product and sales skill training, overseeing the IS performance, provide professional insurance advice with the objective to achieve the agreed sales and profit growth objectives.
  • To lead the IS team to deliver the region Banca target, liaise with branch managers, regional sales manager an insurance partner to manage the IS team activity, productivity, discipline, sales target.
  • Provide sales training and handholding to ensure the IS are up to the mark to provide professional services to the bank customers.
  • To drive branch banking regular premium insurance sales by providing necessary product knowledge and selling skills to bank sales staff as well as conduct customer seminars with an aim to increase insurance penetration and maximise profits from the sale of Insurance across entire customer bases.

Main Duties

  1. Achieve production targets via Insurance Specialist sales channels.
  2. Oversee the Branch Banking regular premium sales.
  3. Identify, train, motivate, coach and develop a core group of FSC / IS
  4. Recruit and retain FSC /IS
  5. Design and develop activities for FSC to deliver team target
  6. Lead management
  7. To promote good team works and synergies amongst the FSC team, internal and external parties.
  8. To provide regular feedbacks on issues pertain to latest developments in the market place and customers’ changing needs and requirements.
  9. To maintain good rapport/ relationships with customers and branch staffs to ensure effective liaison, coordination and efficiency of operations.
