Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

 

Corporate Action Section

  • Checking & Monitoring of all corporate entitlements via Bursa website.
  • Ensuring customers Corporate Action exercises shares are deposited/withdrawn accurately as per CDS balance confirmation report per date stipulated by BURSA.
  • Ensuring customers are duly informed on corporate entitlements via letters and emails to Exempt Dealers
  • Ensure Exempt dealers are notified timely on corporate entitlements via emails.
  • Ensuring customers’ instructions on corporate entitlements are processed and submitted to share registrar/registered office before last date of acceptance.
  • Ensure all dividend payments are processed within 2 working days and original dividend tax vouchers are sent to customers.
  • Ensuring all local & FST dividend payments are processed within 2 working days upon receipt from share registrars/ counter-parties.
  • Ensuring duly completed proxy forms are lodged with share registrar/ registered office timely

Reporting

  • Monthly reconciliation of Rotation Numbering Report for corporate action instructions with branches.
  • Monthly Submission of GL Reconciliation.
  • Quarterly updating of KRI (Key Risk Indicators) Report.
  • Submission of Annual Compliance Certificate to Compliance dept.
  • Quarterly Write Off Reporting on Operational Losses to Compliance dept.

Requirements: 

  • At least 3 years’ experience in providing nominees services for corporate action.
  • In-depth knowledge in Bursa guidelines and procedures for processing of corporate action exercises
  • Good organizational skills, who can communicate at all levels and work calmly and efficiently under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Team player and able to work independently
