Job Description

 1. Bookkeeping & Accounts Preparation

  • Handle full sets of accounts for assigned clients.
  • Perform data entry for invoices, payments, receipts, and journals.
  • Maintain accurate general ledger and accounting schedules.
  • Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and debtor balances.

2. Financial Reporting

  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Prepare management reports and supporting schedules for review.
  • Ensure reports follow MFRS / MPERS and accounting standards (training provided if needed).
     

3. Client Servicing

  • Liaise with clients to obtain accounting documents, information, and clarifications.
  • Maintain good communication and follow up on outstanding documents.
  • Provide basic explanations on accounting queries (guidance will be given).

4. General Administrative Duties

  • Maintain organised documentation and proper filing.
  • Support the office team in any ad-hoc tasks assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1 year of accounting experience preferred (fresh graduates with strong fundamentals are encouraged to apply).
  • Familiar with accounting software (e.g., SQL, Autocount, Bukku) is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to handle multiple clients and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
  • Responsible, organised, and able to work independently.
