Job Description

Job description of Product Technical Specialist – supervising the overall functioning of the Technical Department for equipment’s installation, repair and maintenance, after sales support. Attending regulatory affairs related to the Technical department.

Job Description:

  • Obtain Technical Service Personnel Certification by attending required courses and passing examinations by relevant authorities (organization bears all expenses).
  • Support the Technical Department’s workflow and management by reviewing SOPs and task assignments to improve operational efficiency.
  • Utilize IT systems to track and monitor all incoming and outgoing technical works, providing weekly progress reports to management.
  • Plan and execute Training & Development programs, including attending local and overseas “Train-the-Trainer” courses.
  • Train and update technical staff competencies in knowledge, skills, communication, and regulatory compliance based on ISO/GDPMD/MDA guidelines.
  • Manage Service Manuals and Spare Part Inventory, ensuring accurate documentation, monitoring stock flow, and recommending bi-weekly reorders.
  • Assist in Regulatory Affairs, advising management on Medical Device Authority (MDA) requirements and training staff on compliance matters.
  • Prepare and submit reports, including weekly progress, preventive maintenance schedules, monthly summaries, and new month work plans, as requested by the General Manager.

  • Obtain and maintain Technical Service Personnel Certification as required by the Medical Device Authority (MDA), with training expenses covered by the company.
     
  • Manage and enhance Technical Department operations by reviewing SOPs, applying IT systems for tracking and reporting, and ensuring workflow efficiency.
     
  • Plan and conduct Training & Development programs (local and overseas) to strengthen technical staff competency and compliance under ISO/GDPMD/MDA guidelines.
     
  • Oversee spare part inventory and documentation, ensuring timely reorders, updated service manuals, and accurate records for all product groups.
     
  • Support regulatory compliance and reporting, advising management on MDA requirements, preparing weekly/monthly reports, and assisting with other tasks assigned by management.
