AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Malaysia team is looking for a Account Manager (AM) that can manage the working relationship with large organizations, develop a long term account strategy and execute that strategy within those accounts. AWS AM is a trusted advisor for our largest and most committed customers. The role includes all aspects of account development, sales planning, and customer coverage on behalf of AWS.

Key job responsibilities
• Act as single person of contact for Customer executives, developing deep, trustful relations
• Engage with customers to understand their business drivers and application portfolio
• Educate customers on AWS services and translate those into a clear business value proposition
• Coaching Customer and Partner teams to be self-sufficient.
• Development of long term Cloud Strategy for customers
• Identify & develop specific opportunities to drive account growth for AWS
• Deal shaping, including Contract negotiations & closing
• Overseeing delivery of projects in account, ensuring high quality delivery

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience
- 10+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience
- Experience selling AI/ML solutions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience
- Experience developing detailed go to market plans
