Job Description

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements
  • Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, and record-keeping
  • Support the preparation of various financial reports and analysis as required
  • Contribute to the implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and controls
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide accounting support and resolve financial queries

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an Account Assistant or in a similar role within the accounting field
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Autocount)
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with Malaysian accounting standards and regulations
