Antmed Malaysia Sdn Bhd is a world-leading manufacturer of medical devices focused in Radiology. We have been in business for over 25 years and our CT, MRI, and DSA contrast media injectors, high-pressure syringes and tubing are sold in 120 countries. We have subsidiaries in the US, Europe and East Asia. Antmed is seeking talented and driven Equipment Service Technician to join our new team in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan. 

The Equipment Service Technician is responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of medical equipment, particularly CT, MRI, and DSA contrast injector systems. This role provides both on-site and remote technical support to customers, ensuring optimal equipment performance and high levels of customer satisfaction.

The technician acts as a key technical interface between customers and internal teams, supporting troubleshooting, training, and continuous improvement initiatives across domestic and international markets.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and commission medical equipment at customer sites.
• Ensure all systems meet operational and safety standards before handover.
• Participate in installation planning and site preparation when require.
• Perform preventive maintenance in accordance with company and manufacturer guidelines.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and software faults efficiently.
• Analyze equipment failures, recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
• Serve as the primary contact for service-related issues and technical inquiries.
• Escalate complex problems to engineering teams with proper documentation.
• Train customer personnel on equipment operation, safety procedures, and basic maintenance.
• Demonstrate product features, benefits, and proper usage.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through professional and responsive service.
• Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance logs, and parts usage records.
• Prepare and submit service documentation and warranty claims in a timely manner.
• Document troubleshooting processes and provide feedback for product improvement.
• Manage company tools, test equipment, spare parts, and service inventory.

Job Requirements

• At least 1 -2 years of experience in equipment servicing, field service, or after-sales support.
• Experience with medical devices or contrast injector systems is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and basic software systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters, pressure gauges, calibration tools).
• Proficiency in English, Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Adaptable to dynamic work environments and schedules.
• Willingness to travel frequently (domestic and international).
• Willing to be on-call for emergency support outside normal working hours.
• Possess a valid driving license.
