About the Role

We are looking for a driven and customer-oriented Business Development Executive to expand our enterprise customer base and drive sales of our enterprise drone solutions. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, developing strong client relationships, managing the sales cycle, and delivering solution-based recommendations that address customers' operational needs.

The ideal candidate enjoys engaging with clients, understands consultative selling, and is passionate about helping businesses adopt innovative technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect and develop new business opportunities across industries such as oil & gas, energy, utilities, construction, infrastructure, agriculture, government agencies and other enterprise sectors.
  • Qualify leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, exhibitions and digital outreach to build a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Conduct client meetings to understand operational challenges and recommend suitable drone and enterprise technology solutions.
  • Arrange and support product demonstrations, Proof of Concept (PoC) sessions and technical presentations with prospective customers.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, presentations and tender documentation in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation, contract closure and handover for implementation.
  • Achieve individual sales targets and contribute towards overall business growth.
  • Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with clients by providing timely support and professional account management.
  • Act as the primary point of contact throughout the customer journey to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Follow up on customer enquiries and provide after-sales support to maximise customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products and services.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging industry trends, customer needs and business opportunities.
  • Perform market mapping to identify whitespace opportunities and strategic accounts within assigned industries.
  • Gather market intelligence and competitor insights to support business strategies.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, conferences, roadshows and networking sessions to generate leads and strengthen brand presence.
  • Work closely with technical, engineering and project teams to develop customised solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Maintain accurate sales activities, customer interactions and pipeline updates within the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on lead generation initiatives, campaigns and sales enablement materials.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts and business updates for management.

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Agriculture, Technology or any related discipline.
  • 1-2 years of experience in International Trading, Business Development, Enterprise Sales, B2B Sales or Account Management.
  • Experience selling technology, industrial equipment, engineering solutions, software, drones or related technical products will be an added advantage.
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Experience handling enterprise clients, government agencies or tender submissions is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build long-term client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven and comfortable working independently.
