Job Description

Be the technical voice behind the deals.

Quadruped robots. Humanoid robotics. Autonomous drones. Robotics-as-a-Service. If you've ever watched a four-legged robot walk a site inspection and thought "I need to understand how that works" — this role is built for people like you.

You'll be the person clients trust when conversations get technical: the one who can size up whether a solution genuinely fits their needs and budget, and explain to them clearly and credibly on how it all comes together.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical engagement with clients - Represent the company as the primary technical point of contact throughout discovery calls, site assessments, and solution walkthroughs, building the credibility that moves deals forward.
  • Translate technical capability into commercial value - Articulate how drone dock, quadruped/humanoid robotics, and RaaS solutions address specific client operational challenges, enabling the sales team to sell with confidence and precision.
  • Own end-to-end solution design - Assess client requirements and architect the corresponding hardware, software, and connectivity solution, working closely with engineering to validate technical feasibility before commitment.
  • Drive proposal and tender quality - Author solution write-ups, bills of materials, and scopes of work that strengthen win rates, including submissions for regulated industries such as oil & gas.
  • Advise on IT and infrastructure integration - Guide client IT teams through deployment considerations including cloud vs. on-premise architecture, network and connectivity requirements, API integration, and dashboard/digital twin setup.
  • Build internal technical capability - Develop playbooks, FAQs, and training materials that raise the sales team's technical fluency and reduce dependency on ad hoc engineering support.
  • Support field engagements as required - Travel to client sites for technical assessments and solution scoping, working alongside the deployment team as needed.

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in solutions engineering, pre-sales, technical sales, or systems integration - robotics, drones/UAV, IoT, or automation experience is a strong plus.
  • Solid grasp of IT and networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, Wi-Fi/cellular connectivity, VPN, cloud/server basics, and API integration.
  • Understanding of software architecture concepts - cloud vs. on-premise deployment, command-and-control platforms, digital twins, and system integration.
  • Proven ability to translate technical capability into commercial value, with strong presentation, proposal writing, and client-facing communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare clear technical documentation, case studies, and solution collateral.
  • Added advantage: exposure to survey and mapping concepts (GNSS/GPS, ground control points), or experience in regulated sectors such as oil and gas.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites for assessments and solution scoping.
