Job Description

You will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing an organization’s IT network infrastructure and configuration systems. Ensuring seamless connectivity, system reliability, and compliance with organizational standards while supporting business operations.  

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities 

Network Management 

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.  
• Ensure network security through firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems. 
• Implement upgrades and patches to maintain optimal performance. 
• Maintain documentation of network configurations and system changes. 

Configuration Management 

• Maintain accurate records of system configurations, hardware, and software assets. 
• Develop and enforce configuration standards and policies. 
• Manage version control and documentation for system changes. 

System Administration 

• Support servers, storage, and cloud-based infrastructure. 
• Perform routine backups and disaster recovery planning. 
• Ensure compliance with IT governance and regulatory requirements. 

Collaboration & Support 

• Work closely with IT teams to deploy new systems and applications. 
• Provide technical support and training to staff. 
• Liaise with vendors and service providers for network and system solutions.    

Required Skills & Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ is preferred. 
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V). 
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.). 
• Experience with configuration management tools and practices. 
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or similar). 
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 
• Strong communication and documentation abilities. 
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
