To ensure compliance to relevant authorities, regulations and guidelines or legal requirements which applied to the Group’s business
Liaise with external professional parties, i.e investment bankers, auditors, tax agents, company secretary and other statutory bodies to ensure compliance with matters relating to audit, tax and statutory requirements
Spearhead projects for continuous improvement, including development/changes in system, transactions and processes
Analyse and evaluate relevant reports and financial performance in relation to corporate exercise
Undertake any other tasks and assignments as directed by the Management
Any other responsibilities assigned by the Superior from time to time
To provide support to the team whenever required to ensure mandates are executed efficiently
Assist in coordinating and managing all corporate exercises to be undertaken by the Company (i.e Disposal, Acquisition, Joint Venture, Rights Issue, etc) and be part of the due diligence team for corporate exercises
Work closely with company secretary on announcements and statutory matters
Draft and vet legal agreements/ contracts to be entered by the Company, if required
Co-ordinate corporate events, i.e EGM, AGM, signing ceremony, press conference etc.
To ensure work is executed expeditiously and within deadline
Degree in Business Accounting/Finance or professional qualification
Minimum 3 - 5 years of working experience in investment bank and/or in similar in house position
Positive and can-do attitude, proactive, committed, able to handle pressure and ad hoc matters and also possess strong communication skills
High level of integrity, strong analytical skills and able to meet tight deadlines
Positive working attitude with strong sense of responsibility, self-motivate, integrity, hardworking and able to work independently without supervision
Good command of written and spoken in English, Malay and Mandarin (Good drafting skill is required).
