Job Description

 We are looking for Business Analyst that: 

  • Assist in gathering requirements by identifying user needs and recommending a solution to the client. 
  • Develop user requirement document, functional specification, test scripts, user guide and training material for solutions. 
  • Actively perform application testing to confirm system functions according to requirements. 
  • Support implementation and training activities (where required). 
  • Act as a liaison between development team and stakeholder throughout the implementation. 
  • Constantly conducting research and analysis on banking technologies. 
  • Analyzing, developing and proposing enhancements to current business processes, reports and applications in order to optimize system effectiveness. 
  • Any ad-hoc assignment that is required by the immediate superior. 

Job Requirements

 Qualifications & experience

  • Advanced Diploma/Bachelor/master’s degree in computer science/information system/business administration or related field
  • Strong command of English writing, listening and speaking skills are required.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a business analyst or with 2 years of working experience in a bank or financial institution, preferably with experience in managing cross-functional projects
  • Familiar with software development methodology and knowledge of business solution processes
  • Strong requirements management skills and experience in business process mapping
  • Possess strong analytical, problem-solving and report writing skills.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Conduct inquiries about developing new information systems to meet current and projected business needs.
  • Write functional specifications of user needs for application development, enhancements, and testing.
  • Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing systems.
  • Prepare functional, systems and program specifications.
  • Prepare project proposal with pre-sales team.
  • Provide status updates on assigned projects.
  • Serve as an escalation point for troubleshooting issues.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with customers and vendors.
