📍This position will be based in Selangor (Kota Damansara, Sungai Buloh area)

📍Location: Armstrong Technology (4, Jalan TSB 11, Taman Industri Sungai Buloh, 47000 Sungai Buloh, Selangor)

Position Summary

Responsible for managing the MY GROUP Accounts Receivable (AR) functions to ensure accurate financial reporting, timely month-end closing, and effective working capital management.

Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable (AR)

1. Oversee the MY GROUP Accounts Receivable function to ensure accurate billing, proper documentation, and timely collection of outstanding debts.
2. Ensure AR transactions are updated accurately and promptly.
3. Ensure manual invoices, debit notes, credit notes, receipts, and Statements of Account (SOA) are issued correctly and on a timely basis.
4. Monitor customer aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts to minimize credit risk.

Statutory Reporting

1. Ensure all statutory reports and regulatory submissions, including IIP, SST, monthly statistical reports, and Borang 2, are prepared accurately and submitted within the prescribed deadlines.
2. Keep abreast of relevant statutory and regulatory requirements to ensure ongoing compliance.

Cash Flow Management

1. Prepare and monitor monthly cash flow projections to support effective working capital and liquidity management.
2. Assist management in cash planning by providing timely and reliable cash flow information.

General

1. Ensure proper maintenance and filing of accounting records and supporting documents.
2. Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Finance Manager or Management from time to time.
   

Job Requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in Accounting and Finance.
• Practical experience in Accounts Receivable (AR), month-end closing activities, and financial reporting.
• Exposure to Finance Shared Services, external audit, taxation, and statutory reporting requirements will be an added advantage.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent accounting software).
• Experience in preparing balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow forecasts/projections, and management reporting packages.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
