JOB DESCRIPTION – INTERN (TECHNICIAN SUPPORT)

POSITION TITLE: Internship – Technician Support

RESPONSIBILITIES

•   Assist in Fiber & UTP cabling installation (basic tagging, labeling, and site preparation).
•   Support Wiring & Telephone/PABX setup under supervision.
•   Help in Video Conference & CCTV configuration (basic testing and reporting).
•   Prepare and maintain daily logbook, job sheets, and site documentation.
•   Accompany team for outstation projects (PDRM, ATM, MINDEF, TM, etc.) to assist in installation and maintenance.
•   Ensure tools and equipment are prepared and returned after use.
•   Report technical issues or irregularities to supervisor promptly.
•   Follow safety guidelines, company policies, and supervisor instructions.
  

LEARNING OUTCOMES

•   Exposure to real project environments (fiber optic, PABX, CCTV, video conference).
•   Hands-on experience in technical installation and troubleshooting.
•   Understanding of documentation and reporting standards in technical projects.
•   Development of teamwork, discipline, and communication skills.

Job Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

•   SKM3 / SPM / Certificate / Diploma ONLY.
•   Willing to learn, fast learner, able to work outstation.
•   Basic knowledge in cabling, networking, or communication systems is an advantage.
•   Speaks Malay (Primary) & English.
