THE OPPORTUNITY

Our partner, a leading American provider of independent medical exams, peer reviews, bill reviews, Medicare compliance, and related services, is hiring a Billing Specialist to be part of their Philippine team! They are a nationwide provider of record retrieval services and technology for the legal and insurance industries. For more than 35 years, the team has created innovative technology and processes that enable more efficient record retrieval, online record ordering, and e-summary.

As the Billing Specialist, you will ensure accurate billing of invoices to the clients by following standard billing policies and procedures. Other functions include viewing client’s orders and supporting documentation to verify accuracy before processing of invoices. This role requires someone who can work on-site in BGC, Taguig during probation on US Shift.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Bill invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Analyze invoices and client’s orders and/or supporting documentation for accuracy.
  • Monitor emails for any critical orders or rushes and process in a timely manner.
  • Report daily productivity to Supervisor and manage other duties as assigned by Management.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION

  • Diploma or degree in relevant field
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of working experience in billing, or similar capacity
  • Good understanding of basic billing procedures.
  • Good analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency at typing; preferred level of at least 45 wpm.
  • Able to bill invoices accurately with reasonable output.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent attention to details
  • Able to work in a team or independently with minimal supervision
