They are seeking a skilled Citrix Systems Engineer to manage and maintain an enterprise-scale Citrix environment. This role involves providing Level 3 and above support for backend systems, ensuring optimal system performance, and supporting other infrastructure technologies. The ideal candidate is adaptable, proactive, and capable of troubleshooting and automating tasks to improve operational efficiency.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• The Citrix Systems Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Citrix infrastructure, including Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS), Access Gateway, and ADC/Netscaler.
• They will handle upgrades, and updates, and ensure security compliance while conducting health checks and capacity monitoring.
• The role involves integrating Active Directory, managing group policies, and supporting domain-level operations.
• The candidate will collaborate with the team to support a broad range of backend infrastructure technologies, including Microsoft O365, VMware, and monitoring tools like PRTG.
• The candidate will leverage scripting and automation to streamline processes, troubleshoot complex technical issues, document best practices, and provide after-hours support for emergencies and maintenance.
• The candidate will also participate in change management, explore new VDI solutions, and contribute to maintaining a high-performing infrastructure environment.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• The ideal candidate should have 2–3 years of hands-on experience with Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop and 3–5 years in enterprise-level infrastructure administration.
• They must possess strong knowledge of Active Directory, group policy management, and Windows Server OS.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation, particularly using PowerShell, and a basic understanding of networking are essential.
• Certifications like Citrix CCA-V/CCA-N, Security+, MCSA/MCSE, or ITIL v3/v4 are preferred.
• The candidate should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a proactive learning attitude to support diverse technologies and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
