Our partner, a boutique Financial Planning firm based in Perth, Australia, is expanding its team and seeking a Financial Planning Paraplanner! Founded in 2019, the firm prides itself on delivering highly personalized wealth management solutions. To support their growing client base, they require a dedicated professional to assist with financial strategies and compliance needs.
In this role, you will work closely with the Directors and the Wealth Management team, preparing advice documents, financial strategies, and recommendations to meet compliance requirements on time. The position will be based in Metro Manila, with a requirement to be on-site every day from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with the Wealth Management team to provide annual services to the existing client base.
- Prepare advice documents, such as Statements and Records of Advice, using pre-established templates.
- Organize files and prepare paperwork, reports, and presentation materials for all scheduled meetings, following the monthly client review schedule.
- Ensure client data collected during review meetings and throughout the year is accurately entered into XPLAN (financial planning/CRM software).
- Conduct comparisons between existing and proposed financial products to support informed decision-making for document preparation.
- Work alongside Advisers to develop financial strategies based on research and client-provided information.
- Maintain accurate and appropriately named documentation in the designated server locations.
- Continuously update and maintain databases to reflect the latest client information.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree in a finance-related field.
- Proficiency in XPLAN and knowledge of Australian Financial Planning processes (Paraplanning).
- Familiarity with Superannuation and Taxation systems, including compliance requirements.
- A strong desire to learn and engage in all areas of financial planning, such as Superannuation, Investments, Gearing, Retirement income, Tax minimization strategies, and Personal & Key Man Insurance.
- Fluent in English, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, punctual, and a team player.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively, showing initiative and contributing to a cohesive work environment.
