THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client, an Australian expert in providing exceptional financial solutions and customer service since 2007, is continuously growing in Malaysia and hiring for Loan Support Officer. The team provide expert advice that makes life easier by making financial decisions as stress-free as possible and empower clients to make strong financial decisions that count, by sourcing the most competitive lending or financial planning structure.

As a Loan Support Officer, you'll be pivotal in providing ongoing support to clients after their loan has settled. Your responsibilities will encompass administrative tasks, client communication, lender communication and ensuring a seamless post-settlement. You will be directly reporting to the Team Leader and Manager in Australia, and will be working closely with the onshore team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Mainly responsible in completing pricing requests, repricing, lender negotiation, (retention-related) to home loans.
  • Conduct regular pricing reviews of clients' loans, offering detailed property reports to keep them informed about their financial status, whilst requesting new pricing and interest rate discounts on eligible products.
  • Efficiently handle administrative duties for the loan support team, ensuring smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.
  • Be the main post-settlement contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Making stakeholder phone calls to confirm the status of loan applications (during the home loan application process)
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences by promptly addressing client concerns and objections, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally
  • Assist clients and builders through construction, ensuring smooth payments and communication.
  • Service valuation requests for brokers by requesting and organising the reports.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Previous experience in mortgage or financial services, with a strong understanding of post-settlement processes and client management.
  • Must have specific experience in completing pricing requests (retention-related) to home loans.
  • Excellent communication skills and phone management skills, with the ability to address objections and resolve issues diplomatically.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Demonstrated initiative and a proactive mindset
  • Capable of working independently and prioritizing tasks effectively.
