What You’ll Do
- Manage and support Exchange Online and hybrid Exchange environments.
- Maintain and troubleshoot on‑premises Exchange servers and ensure stable mail flow.
- Oversee email security, including MX records, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
- Handle mailbox lifecycle management, journaling, and archiving.
- Administer email gateway/filtering solutions and respond to security incidents.
- Collaborate with other teams on deployments, hardening, remediation, and documentation.
- Support core infrastructure technologies including Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, VMware, Intune, Zscaler, backups, monitoring, and automation.
- Participate in Change Management and provide after‑hours support when required.
- Mentor team members and maintain accurate asset and configuration documentation.
Key Criteria
- Proven expertise in Microsoft 365 and enterprise messaging, including Exchange Online and Hybrid Exchange.
- Strong experience with email security standards (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and enterprise mail‑gateway tools (e.g., Mimecast, Proofpoint, Cisco ESA).
- Solid background supporting and troubleshooting on‑premises Exchange environments and ensuring stable, secure mail flow.
- Strong understanding of identity and directory services, including Azure AD/Entra ID, AD Connect, Active Directory, DNS, and SSO.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation to streamline processes and improve reliability.
- Broader infrastructure experience across Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, VMware, backups, monitoring, endpoint protection, and patching tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical capability with a security‑focused, methodical approach.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- A proactive, customer‑focused mindset with a willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
Work setup:
- Kuala Lumpur (Mid Valley City): Australian hours (6:00 AM – 3:00 PM MYT) with a hybrid setup of 3 days onsite and 2 days from home.
