The Opportunity

Our partner, is one of Australia’s most trusted specialist trustee companies, providing financial, fiduciary, and technology-driven services across private wealth, superannuation, and corporate clients. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Technology Services team as a Software Developer, working on solutions that support core business systems and integrations across multiple platforms. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment that values technical expertise, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing business applications and integrations to meet team and organisational goals. You’ll work closely with analysts, architects, and end-users to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.

• Develop, test, and implement high-quality software solutions to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with business analysts and solution architects to define requirements and propose efficient technical solutions.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
• Perform code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure development standards are met.
• Support integration between platforms and third-party systems.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production issues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and relevant regulations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the technology and project teams.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficient in the .NET framework and MS SQL Server, including SSIS and SSRS.
• Hands-on experience with frontend technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
• Familiarity with data integration (XML, JSON, LINQ, Entity Framework).
• Experience with Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
