• Working Hours:
• School Days: 11am to 7pm
• School Holidays: 8:30am to 6:30pm 
• Supervise all activities for children in after-school care.
• Provide engaging lessons to SJKC primary students in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, English, Science, and Mathematics.
• Assist primary students with their homework.
• Ensure the safety of all students while consistently maintaining professionalism.
• Communicate effectively with students, upholding professionalism at all times.
• Develop lesson plans, create educational aids, and prepare teaching materials to enhance learning experiences.
• Organize and lead 'Fun and Learn' holiday programs that blend enjoyment with education.
• Coordinate and run motivational camps during holidays to inspire and energize students.
• Monitor and report on students' progress.

Responsibilities

Schedule & Supervision

• Working hours: School days 11:00am to 7:00pm; school holidays 8:30am to 6:30pm.
• Supervise all after-school care activities and manage students' daily routines to keep the centre safe and calm.

Classroom & Programme Delivery

• Teach SJKC primary subjects including Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, English, Science, and Mathematics with age-appropriate, engaging lessons.
• Prepare lesson plans, create educational aids, and assist students with homework to support term learning goals.
• Organise and lead 'Fun and Learn' holiday programmes and motivational camps that combine learning with hands-on activities.
• Monitor students' progress and update progression reports each term.

Safety, Communication & Administration

• Ensure student safety and manage behaviour using clear routines and gentle guidance to maintain a nurturing environment.
• Communicate professionally with students and parents, and handle basic admin such as attendance and incident logs.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• You have at least SPM, a Diploma, or a Bachelor's degree in any field.
• A Diploma or Degree in Psychology or a Diploma in Education is preferred.
• No prior experience required; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• You are self-driven, able to work independently, and demonstrate patience, enthusiasm for teaching, and a caring attitude towards children.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• You can communicate proficiently in both Mandarin and English, with Mandarin speaking and reading skills and basic writing suitable for primary levels.
• Practical ability in lesson planning, classroom management, activity-based learning, and effective time management is required.

Soft Skills & Qualities

• Patient, warm communicator who connects well with young learners and maintains a calm classroom atmosphere.
• Organised, reliable, and comfortable working within a small team while following established routines and professional standards.
