Purpose of the role

The position of account executives, as a part of the accounting team, is to process all accounting procedures for account receivable and general ledgers accurately and following the procedures for compliance with internal procedures, corporate guidelines, and statutory requirements. in Malaysia. A strong sense of responsibility and the ability to prioritize and organize are preferred skill sets to fill this role. Working under pressure is to be expected. Based in Kuala Lumpur, the ideal candidate will become a part of a great team of passionate travel colleagues.

You will play an important role to:

• AR transactions such as handling petty cash, bank posting and reconciliation, inflows from customers, monthly statement, outstanding, travel claims, sales expenses reports, and other related accounting issues related to receivables.
• Support Accounting Manager during monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, external auditing processes, budgets, and forecast preparations.
• Ensure the database of vendors is updated and the accuracy of financial information in the accounting records for financial reporting purposes.
• Coordinate with Contracting, and Reservations departments on matters pertaining to the receivables and debtors.

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Certification of Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or LCCI is preferred.
• An excellent command Malaysian and English (verbal and writing) is essential, other languages are a plus
• 5 years of working experience in account receivable computerized accounts, financial matters, and taxation.
• Proficient knowledge of PC operation and software applications, especially external accounting and finance systems, Oracle NetSuite, MS Office, E-mail, and the Internet as well as good typing skill.
