Internship – Freight Forwarding & Business Development Intern

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and eager-to-learn Intern to support our freight forwarding and business development team. This internship offers hands-on exposure to international logistics, customer coordination, shipment operations, and sales support across sea freight, air freight, trucking, and customs clearance services.

This role is ideal for students or fresh graduates interested in logistics, supply chain, sales, or international business.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Logistics Support

• Assist in coordinating import and export shipments. 
• Support documentation preparation such as invoices, packing lists, permits, and shipping instructions. 
• Follow up with carriers, agents, transporters, and customers on shipment status. 
• Assist in tracking cargo movement and updating customers. 
• Learn and support customs clearance procedures. 

Sales & Business Development Support

• Assist in preparing quotations for customers. 
• Support lead generation and customer follow-ups. 
• Help maintain customer databases and sales records. 
• Assist the sales team in handling inquiries and preparing reports. 
• Learn customer relationship management and account servicing. 

Administrative Support

• Maintain proper filing of shipment and customer documents. 
• Assist with data entry and operational reporting. 
• Support internal coordination between sales and operations teams.

• Diploma or Degree student in: 
• Logistics & Supply Chain 
• Business Administration 
• International Business 
• Marketing 
• or related fields 
• Good communication skills in English. 
• Mandarin speaking is an advantage. 
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and email communication. 
• Positive attitude, responsible, and willing to learn. 
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
