Job Description
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer Intern to join our team. You will work closely with our development and business teams to design intuitive, functional, and visually engaging digital experiences for websites, systems, and applications.
Responsibilities
- Design UI/UX for websites, web applications and internal systems
- Create wireframes, user flows, mockups and interactive prototypes
- Translate business requirements into clear and user-friendly interfaces
- Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately
- Improve existing interfaces based on usability and user experience
- Conduct basic competitor and UX research
- Maintain consistency across layouts, components and design systems
- Participate in brainstorming and contribute ideas to improve digital products
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Digital Media, IT, Computer Science or related fields
- Basic knowledge of UI/UX principles and user-centred design
- Proficient in Figma; knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or similar tools is an advantage
- Good understanding of layout, typography, colour and visual hierarchy
- Able to create wireframes, prototypes and responsive interface designs
- Creative with strong attention to detail
- Able to understand requirements and turn ideas into practical designs
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willing to learn and receive feedback
- Portfolio is required — academic and personal projects are welcome
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS or front-end development is an added advantage
