JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Astro Family Internship Programme 2027 – Corporate Functions

As Astro celebrates 30 years of serving generations of Malaysians, we're proud to introduce the Astro Family Internship Programme, an internship opportunity exclusively for Astro customers and their eligible family members.

The Corporate Functions category gives students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and discover how different teams work together to support Astro’s business and operations.

Interns may work alongside experienced professionals and gain exposure to areas such as:

• Human Resources
• Customer Experience
• Finance
• Legal
• Procurement
• Sustainability
• Strategy
• Corporate Assurance
• Other corporate and business support functions

Depending on your internship placement, you may support projects, conduct research, prepare reports and presentations, participate in meetings and contribute to day-to-day activities or process improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Do

As an intern at Astro, you may have the opportunity to:

• Support projects and day-to-day activities within your assigned team
• Conduct research and assist with reports, presentations and documentation
• Participate in meetings, discussions and team activities
• Work with different teams and stakeholders across the organisation
• Assist with process improvement and operational initiatives
• Gain practical experience and understand how different business functions support Astro’s success

REQUIREMENTS:

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for students who are:

• Malaysian citizen
• Currently enrolled in a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree programme
• Minimum CGPA of 3.0 (or equivalent)
• Available for a minimum three (3)-month internship between February and July 2027
• Astro customer or eligible family member (children, grandchildren or siblings) of an Astro customer
• Able to provide a valid active Astro account number as part of the application process
• Curious and eager to learn
• Organised and detail-oriented
• Good communicators and team players
• Proactive and willing to contribute ideas
• Interested in learning how a business operates
