JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Champion our Customer Communications efforts for campaigns and activities related to our products and services. This includes media relations, press kits (press releases, media briefing documents) for product/service launches and the spokesperson’s keynote.
  • As part of customer communications, your day-to-day responsibilities include creating and vetting through content meant for customers across a range of channels and platforms.
  • Strategic management of our products and services communications campaigns by gathering cross-functional support and participation and coordinating logistics/messaging to drive impactful conversations in new, innovative ways.
  • Be able to plan strategically and execute from scratch communications campaign holistically with great buzz in the market.
  • Issues monitoring and crisis management will also be an essential part of the role as any issues with implications to the company should be closely tracked and responded to if required.
  • Having a pulse on the media landscape to which platforms we can engage and develop social trend/conversation, this includes media monitoring, compiling data and generating media reports.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree holder: Preferably media, communications, or related field.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in communications, media, journalism, and/ or agency
  • Must be able to speak and write English fluently, this includes copywriting, editing and proofreading skills. Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.
  • Ability to turn around copy quickly, revise and vet with key stakeholders.
  • Experience in entertainment media or hi-tech / consumer-tech industry
  • Strong network of media and KOL relations.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and to prioritise action items.
  • Demonstrate "roll up your sleeves" team player.
  • Must have a passion for the entertainment industry.
