JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

So, the role naturally requires someone who has a neck in solving business problems harnessing the know-how of budget & media planning to ensure Astro’s presence in market is optimum in building brand affinity in the long run. Someone who enjoys piecing together marketing campaign with budget & media mix channel, but no man is an island. Reporting to the AVP of Marketing Support, Budget & Media Planning the role supports in the marketing campaign roadmap to media & budget strategy. The role also requires a collaborative work ethic among internal and stakeholders from marcomm, business unit, performance media, sales & agencies.

Job Description: 

  • Support in alignment among stakeholders and partners for quarterly & individual campaign budget & media planning. Covering from strategy – implementation & post campaign/quarterly reconciliation.  
  • Support in GTM strategy for planned marketing campaigns from ATL media strategy (DOOH/OOH, radio, trade & activation).  
  • Work in collaboration with Marcomm, Digital Performance, Trade & Sales to strategies GTM budget & media strategy that’s aligned with the market opportunity.
  • Execute in direction of planned media mix GTM, that drives quantifiable impact and results.
  • Seek opportunities to create unique & exclusive collaboration among media owners & agency partners.
  • Accountable in campaign roll-out, gather learning and implement continuous improvements to drive efficiency and results.
  • Acts as media & budget “go-to” and point of contact for all planned quarterly marketing campaigns (ie: Astro payTV).

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Experience in marketing budget/media planning is required
    • Excellent writing skills in English
    • Excellent use of Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word.
    • Good communication skills in English and BM
    • Good analysis of campaign performance marketing for media post buy
    • A strong interest/ knowledge in Radio, Music, Entertainment and Lifestyle related content and a flair for developing content in this area.
    • Passionate about analysing numbers, interpreting trends, drawing actionable insights.
