JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Contribute in engineering programs solving business problems
• Design and build scalable & robust software
• Engage with engineering and product managers to bring their ideas to life
• Write clean, concise code that conforms to modern best practices
• Leverage your experience with a broad range of technology stacks, platforms, and workflow tools to do your best work and share your knowledge with fellow team members
• Define engineering practices across the team and be one of the primary gatekeeper
• Participate in pod based scrum philosophy of the team and deliver incrementally with business outcome
• Manage vendors and the SLA with them- take part in periodic review meetings.
• Strive to research, analyze and recommend innovations around digital media, entertainment domain, system architecture, business flows, process & others to identify opportunities and improve the system

REQUIREMENTS:

WHO YOU ARE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent with strong written, verbal communication skills and strong documentation skills
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in software development in a DevOps Culture (CI/CD)
• Comprehensive knowledge and working experience with full stack engineering (Java, Spring, Angular, React & Node)
• Java experience is mandatory.
• Should be able to handle & manage code across multiple releases following best in industry software code management (GIT) practices
• Experience in developing microservices, server less architecture and distributed systems
• Working experience with AWS stack like Lambda, SQS, SNS, RDS etc.
• Experience in different search engine frameworks like Apache SOLR or Elasticsearch
• Experience of designing highly scalable and extensible database using either MySQL, RDS, MongoDB etc
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to details and accuracy.
• Motivated self-starter with a high attention to detail and effective collaborator with both non-technical and technical team members.
• Continuously improve your knowledge of existing technology and research and learn new and emerging technologies.
