Role purpose

As a builder, you will help create a library of content assets from scratch, refine formats that convert, and support the full content lifecycle from concept to publish. This internship is a chance to learn rapid content production, measurement, and iterative improvement in a real e-commerce environment.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

Content Creation

• Produce short-form videos and static assets for social, marketplace listings, and ads using briefs and templates.
• Edit footage into final cuts that match platform specs and brand tone, keeping run times and captions optimised.
• Write SEO-aware captions and short scripts that support product positioning and conversion.
• Maintain an organised asset library for reuse and version control.

Platform & Campaign Support

• Assist in scheduling and publishing content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and marketplace pages.
• Monitor early performance metrics and prepare simple reports to show what content is working.
• Apply basic SEO and keyword checks for product copy and content metadata.
• Help iterate creative based on quick daily or weekly learnings.

Collaboration & Project Management

• Work directly with product, marketing and design to align creative to campaign goals.
• Manage small deliverables and timelines to meet publishing schedules.
• Support research into market trend and competitor content to inspire new formats.
• Participate in briefings and post-campaign reviews with clear notes and suggested improvements.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Pursuing or recently completed diploma or degree in Marketing, Media, Communication, Design or related field.
• 0 years of professional experience, open to fresh graduates and current students seeking internship credit.
• Portfolio or sample work showing short videos, captions or social posts is preferred.
• Available to commit to the internship schedule and collaborate with teams in Malaysia time zones.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Video Production and Video Editing skills using tools like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut or mobile editing apps.
• Basic Digital Marketing understanding, including Social Media and Market Trend awareness.
• Familiarity with SEO Copywriting, Product Management basics and UI/UX Strategy principles is a plus.
• Comfortable with content planning and light Project Management tasks using Google Workspace or similar tools.

Soft Skills & Qualities

• Communicative and open to feedback, with a willingness to iterate quickly on creative work.
• Curious about shopper behaviour and eager to learn measurement and optimisation techniques.
• Organised, reliable, and able to manage several small tasks without losing quality.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail for visuals, timing and copy.
