Job Responsibilities

1. Visual Content Creation (Static)

• Design high-quality, luxury-standard visuals for Instagram, Facebook (Meta), LinkedIn, and Threads.
• Create aesthetically pleasing carousel posts, Instagram Stories, and promotional banners that align with Avante Design’s brand identity.
• Design layout covers and informational graphics specifically for Xiaohongshu (Rednote), adhering to the platform’s unique "magazine" aesthetic.

2. Video Editing & Multimedia

• Edit short-form engaging videos (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) showcasing furniture details, showroom tours, and interior styling tips.
• Assist in basic long-form video editing for YouTube (e.g., product reviews or designer interviews).
• Add trending audio, subtitles, and smooth transitions using tools like CapCut or Premiere Pro.

3. Content Planning & Support

• Assist the marketing team in scheduling posts across all platforms.
• Participate in content brainstorming sessions to bring fresh, trendy ideas relevant to the Malaysian interior design market.
• Assist during photo/video shoots at the showroom or client sites (handling lighting, BTS content, etc.).

1. Technical Skills

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator) or high-level proficiency in Canva (must demonstrate an ability to create custom, non-template designs).
• Competent in video editing apps (CapCut, VN) or software (Premiere Pro, After Effects).
• Familiarity with the interface and trends of TikTok, Instagram, and specifically Xiaohongshu (Rednote).

2. Education & Experience

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Mass Communication, or a related field.
• A strong portfolio is a must (assignments or freelance work). Please attach a portfolio link with your application.

3. Language & Soft Skills

• Languages: Fluent in English (for LinkedIn/IG). Proficiency in Mandarin is a massive advantage (for navigating and creating content for the Chinese-speaking market on Xiaohongshu).
• Aesthetic Eye: specific understanding of "Luxury" and "Minimalist" design styles. You understand that "less is more."
• Proactive: Willing to learn, able to work independently, and meet deadlines.
• Transport: Possess own transport to travel to the Selangor showroom/office.

4. Bonus Points (Nice to have)

• Basic photography skills (DSLR or Mobile Photography).
• Copywriting skills (ability to write catchy captions in English or Mandarin).
