Role Overview
As an Accounts Executive, you will play a key role in managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting financial reporting. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain accurate records and contribute to Avares’ financial health.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist in budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure timely submission of statutory filings (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, SST)
- Support audit and tax preparation processes
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in line with Avares’ ISO and QA standards
- Liaise with internal departments and external vendors on payment and billing matters
- Assist in system improvements and data integration with ERP and SQL Accounting
Job Requirements
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software or ERP Systems
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with statutory compliance
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
