About the Role
We are looking for a well-experienced and dynamic professional to join our import operations team as a Customer Service Executive (Air & Sea Freight) Freight forwarding Industry.
This position plays a key role in managing the complete import process — from pre-alert to final delivery — while ensuring full compliance with customs regulations and delivering top-tier service to customers. The successful candidate will also help develop SOPs and groom the operations team to achieve higher efficiency and service standards.
Key Responsibilities
SEAFREIGHT
-Handle customer inquiries related to seafreight (import and export shipments)
-Receive, process, and confirm bookings with shipping lines
-Coordinate with carriers, co-loaders, and overseas agents for schedules and space
-Prepare and verify seafreight documentation (BL, HBL, MBL, invoices, packing lists, SI, etc.)
-Monitor vessel schedules and track shipments
-Provide proactive shipment status updates to customers
-Liaise with customs brokers, transporters, and warehouses
-Resolve shipment issues such as delays, rollovers, or documentation discrepancies
-Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and company SOPs
-Maintain accurate shipment records in freight management systems
-Verify billing, job costing, and support invoicing
AIRFREIGHT
Handle customer inquiries related to airfreight shipments (import & export)
-Receive, process, and confirm airfreight bookings
-Coordinate with airlines for space allocation, rates, and schedules
-Prepare and verify airfreight documentation (AWB, HAWB, MAWB, invoices, packing lists, etc.)
-Track shipments and provide proactive status updates to customers
-Liaise with operations, customs brokers, warehouses, and overseas agents
-Resolve shipment issues such as delays, discrepancies, or damages
-Ensure compliance with IATA regulations and company SOPs
-Maintain accurate records in freight forwarding systems
-Support billing by verifying charges and job costing
