Job Description

 Key Responsibilities

Operations & Coordination

  • Strategically plan and coordinate daily transport activities to ensure smooth operations
  • Assign vehicles and drivers based on delivery priorities and operational needs
  • Track and monitor fleet movements to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
  • Communicate clearly with drivers on routes, schedules, and instructions
  • Ensure all vehicles are inspection-ready, meeting safety and compliance standards
  • Coordinate servicing, repairs, and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
  • Promptly identify and resolve vehicle issues, defects, or breakdowns
  • Work closely with internal teams to align transport requirements with business needs
  • Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and authorities professionally
  • Manage delivery challenges, delays, and queries with a solutions-driven mindset

    Administration & Compliance
  • Prepare and manage key transport documents such as trip sheets, delivery orders, PODs, and invoices
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance history
  • Update and manage logistics data efficiently in systems and reports
  • Organize and maintain proper filing of all transport-related documentation
  • Generate reports to support operational and management decisions
  • Ensure all driver licenses, medicals, and permits are valid and up to date
  • Uphold compliance with transport regulations, safety standards, and company policies
  • Handle application and renewal of port passes for drivers
