We’re growing our engineering team and are looking for a Senior Backend Developer who’s excited about building robust backend systems that power AI workflow automation and chatbots.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python (Django)
  
  
• Build backend features and services using TypeScript/JavaScript where needed
  
  
• Work with MySQL to design schemas, write queries, and improve performance
  
  
• Help design scalable, secure, and maintainable backend solutions on GCP
  
  
• Collaborate closely with product, frontend, QA, and other stakeholders to deliver features end-to-end
  
  
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
  
  
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving our engineering standards
  
  
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve existing backend services

Job Requirements

What we’re looking for

• 2–4 years of backend development experience (fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
  
  
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and Django
  
  
• Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript for backend services (e.g. Node.js/Express, or similar)
  
  
• Solid understanding of relational databases (MySQL)
  
  
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
  
  
• Familiarity with cloud environments, ideally Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  
  
• Good understanding of software engineering best practices:
  
  
• Testing (unit/integration)
  
  
• Code reviews
  
  
• CI/CD
  
  
• Version control (Git)
  
  
• Comfortable working in English (spoken and written)

Nice-to-have (big plus):

• DevOps exposure (CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, basic infra)
  
  
• Frontend knowledge (e.g. Next.js, React, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, or similar)
  
  
• Domain knowledge in AI workflow automation or chatbot systems
