We’re growing our engineering team and are looking for a Senior Backend Developer who’s excited about building robust backend systems that power AI workflow automation and chatbots.

Role Description

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python (Django) and TypeScript/JavaScript
• Architect scalable, secure, and maintainable backend solutions on GCP
• Own key backend modules/services end-to-end, from design to deployment and monitoring
• Collaborate closely with product, QA, and other stakeholders to deliver features that solve real business problems
• Lead by example in coding standards, code reviews, and best practices
• Mentor junior engineers and help elevate the overall quality of the engineering team
• Work with MySQL to design efficient schemas and write performant queries

Job Requirements

• 4+ years of backend development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and Django
• Solid experience with TypeScript/JavaScript for backend services
• Strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL)
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with cloud environments, ideally Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Good understanding of software engineering best practices (testing, code reviews, CI/CD, version control)
• Comfortable working in English (spoken and written)
